Yep, they’ve been popping up for a couple weeks now. Bradford pear trees are all blossomed out.

They are and my buddy thought this was one. 
Had a tall leaning shagbark hickory taken down today by a tree feller. Dude climbed 80-85 foot up and tethered and lowered the top limb by limb to avoid damaging our gazebo. For only being 28 and doing it for 7 years he sure did a great job and it was well worth the coin he charged to do it. The live tree had a compromised split in it 40-45 feet up that could cause it to split or snap off and damage stuff so I had it taken down. In that split was a hole that a fox squirrel used as a nest. After felling the final 50 foot portion of tree guys heard some squeaking and this little guy rolled out of the hole. Lucky the momma came and got it an hour later and relocated it into another nest. Funny, I’ve only seen 2 fox squirrels around our house and the tree I had fell was the one they chose to raise youngins in. Lol

our Red-winged blackbirds always show back up early to mid February, as they did again this year. Been here for 6 weeks. Tree Swallow showed up last weekend. Hummingbirds will be along shortly.
I’ve been hearing RWBB singing around our house for almost a month. Neighbor has pond with cattails.
