14'x14' overhead door is insulated, and I have 5" gutters on her. Eventually will devise a water catchment system on the back part for the animals and garden.
I’ve been scheming something of a rain catcher for my one barn also. I’m thinking about building a 4-ft-ish tall platform on a slab or footing, then setting an IBC tote on top. Run two downspouts to it from the front and back corners and I’ll have about 1600 sq ft of roof feeding it. Then just gravity over to the garden. Or install a small 12V pump and some drip emitter tubing.

It is your time and money, but hear me out. Level it. Throw some 4/11s or nice packing stone down for a base. Run a plate compactor over it. Make it 6x6 or 8x8. Buy two totes. Stack them. With the wire cage around them, I believe they are stackable. If they are not, then disregard. I've priced concrete. Hoo-doggie. Not cheap. Second tote with water wouldn't be terrible. 😁

I guess it would just depends how hillbilly I want it to look. 😂

Or… better yet… I could just not complicate things like a dumbass, and use the farm hydrant that’s connected to my well about 20’ away from the barn. 😂

I wasn't going to say it. I don't think you need a 3rd water source. But I see you have a sickness with water. Particularly, retaining as much as you can. Lol
