This is true. I am a run it until the light comes on and then think about filling up. My wife hyperventilation at half a tank. Year's ago in my Colorado i put a can of gas in the back of the truck and hit the trip when the light came on at 49 miles until empty. I think i got close to 70 miles out of it before it ran out of gas.

Hey, I did it, I made it till the light turned on and didn’t die! I even ran my truck down to 1/4 tank today. HUGE steps for me.

I pump till the clunk. Give it a quick squeeze to get the flow going again then let go, shut off the pump, then squeeze the trigger again. You would be surprised how much more comes out of some pumps.

About 2.5 gallons still left in the tank, which would've taken me another 40-50 miles down the road depending how hard I drove it.

Just reached 239,000 on her 'TOO'!

Good to go once again for another 600 miles
