I am looking to get my boys and me some R/C cars for Christmas, looking for something nice around $200 range. Anyone have any that they like or hate ?

Depends on what you want to do 200 bucks is going to but most middle to higher end 1/10 scale crawlers out of reach. Now if you looked at slightly used trucks on fb you could definitely find a stock axial sxc10ii for that price. Traaxas, axial, element and rc4wd are the big name 1/10 scale companies. There are knock offs of pretty much all of those designs.
You could get a pretty badass rtr 1/24th scale crawler for 200. The 1/24 scale trucks are a lot of fun to build indoor courses for.
It is a pretty fun hobby. If you have any questions dm me. One thing you are going to have to factor in is most rtr trucks do not come with a charger and a battery.

Not to hi-jack the thread but I was at Bass pro last night and an Amish lady went past with a very full shopping cart and there were 2 R/C cars in the cart. I guess no one makes an R/C horse and buggy

In the early 90’s I wanted one of these RC trucks in the worst way. I thought the Tyco Bandit was the ultimate toy. Never got one. Now you can find originals on eBay. My wife doesn’t believe just how seriously I’m considering buying one.
