Lol, true story! Rained all the way from my house to dads house...3.5 hours of driving n the rain.
Gonna be a bad year for farmers, how many of them up your way have not been able to plant? The guy that was going to plant my field this year is not going to be able to.
Buddy got 40 acres of corn and 20 of beans planted out of close to a 1000. Now he's worried that the seed is going to rot. The corn is in the field I hunt so if it grows it might be the only one for miles around.
Around here, from what I see, may be 25% planted, maybe. I foresee alot of what'll look like second crop beans
Nothing much planted up here. I talked with the farmers daughters that work at lucky farmers. They said the only ones who planted did so by air. Corn fields will be far and few between.
I know it’s crazy...but I seen the sun between rains today! I nearly shit myself.

Most of the areas around here are planted luckily. But man this shits killin us at work cant strip dirt cant run topsoil we are way behind
Another shocker, more rain tonight into tomorrow. 1/2"-3/4" around me with just south expecting 3-3.5"
I'm getting killed by the weather. I've lost almost 8 weeks of exterior painting to the weather. looking better next week, but with a finite amount of days before the snow flies, I'm pretty well fucked now. worst stretch of wet I've ever seen. epic. won't be any new Sitka gear in my closet this season
Shifted predictions north to rt24. I guess we're now to expect the 3". YAY. I guess I'll mow again tonight, might be awhile before I can do it again.
That sucks Jamie. This much rain is effecting many pocket books. I really don’t think people realize the full effect of all this. Farmers is all you hear about...
Raining here again. Snuck out of work long enough to get yard mowed. Good thing I did.
Flash flooding at the 13 acre property we haven't been able to mow yet this week. More rain coming. I don't think we'll get it this week. I feel you Jamie. We have completed ONE mulch job since we started mowing. ONE in two months. Usually we have been thru a couple semi loads or more.
