Got 0.8" in 20mins just a bit ago, built right on top of us. 2nd round was expected later but looks to be using up the energy.

I figured by putting seed in the ground on Sunday, a drought would follow. Instead, we've had 3 toad stranglers in the last 36 hours.
End of next week into first week of Aug is looking awesome after this current heat & humidity. Stay positive fellas, cool mornings in the woods is just around the corner.
Basically the ground is so saturated that it floods at 3 drops. You can ask anyone that was here last weekend about the colors, still looks like spring around these parts.
Glad this has mostly gone N of us, PC and islands are getting rocked!
It was just blowing and raining sideways here for about 15 minutes. Now the sun is back out and there’s barely a breeze. Wild stuff we’re experiencing this summer.

Lol, as of this AM forecasted for 0.5" thru tomorrow. Now its 2-3" tonight another 1-2" tomorrow. The corn is gonna love it, but tar spot has popped up on corn in the area and farmers cant get in fields to spray beans. I checked on drone seed broadcasting cost with a friend, he said he's booked solid the rest of the month spraying fungicide. Still looking forward to those high 70's tho the rest of this week into early next week!
We're showing temps in the 50s this weekend, which is a welcome reprieve!
Earthquakes. Tsunamis. Hurricanes that made it north of the Smokies. Been a wild year for weather. Will be interesting to see what else is in the works.
Hopefully some good snow fall this season....dump it!
