All is quiet here in southern Ohio right now. Should end up being a good day for sleeping. Hopefully everyone is safe out there.

I believe you are south of me. I'm right on the edge and sharing my man chair with a 100 lb dog shaking like he's shitting Peach pits. Last year was the first year he started getting bothered by lightening...now he like a damn toy poodle.

Hank normally joins me in the basement while I am working at the computer. There is an old recliner which is "his". Our beagle generally lazes around on the dog pillow in the living room, the pillow in my daughter's room, behind the couch, or wherever she plops her fat bootie down. Tonight she joined us in the basement. Panting. Nervous. Hank wouldn't get in his recliner. He stood next to my office chair. I was confused. Then I heard the winds pick up. Then I get tornado watch alert on my phone. That is when it made sense. It just blows my mind how the dogs know this stuff. They don't even have smart phones to alert them. lmao

This is a good one here. My phone is freaking out, I can't ever remember it raining this hard with this kind of lightening. Everyone is sleeping besides me and the dog.

I swear I just heard a tornado. Started yelling for everyone to wake up and get theirs asses in the basement. Got down here and got the warning!

Heard that train sound that I've heard before. I've been through a couple tornados. I knew what I was hearing, no time to fuck around, go time.

Kinda creepy how you can't hear a damn thing in my basement.

Did it touchdown? It didn't sound like it did from what I could hear listening to it. Haven't been on the news and probably won't till morning.

Had 2 form right by my house but don't think they touched down. The town 2 miles north of me (as the crow flies) has trees down and debris everywhere. I HATE it when storms like this come through and I'm stuck at work..

All good here. Lightning, wind and rain were pretty fuckin crazy. Wife had the drapes pulled to the side, told her to get up and close them to calm the dog down. Well Gunner is a puss, she ended up taking him downstairs and watching TV with him to keep him calm so I could sleep. Good woman. Hope everyone else is ok.
