Tennessee has gotten pounded with rain as has many other places. Dale Hollow Lake is 9' above flood pool and still rising. It is at record levels. Luckily our cabin is at top of the hill so we should be good.
Heading too Tennessee Tuesday AM.... Dragging the boat this time. Tullahoma this trip... Weather app has nothing but warnings too it....

My Uncle at Cumberland Lake said they are extremely high but can't open the spillways much because it heads to Dale Hollow. Hoping Mother Nature let's up so they can slowly open the dams.

I’ve always felt that if you’re that scared of the roads, maybe you should stay home.

I've always thought that vehicles should be given snow and ice classifications. Class I, II, III vehicles. Then the roads should be graded for the conditions. Get caught out in a class I vehicle in class II road condition and it'll cost you a ticket and a tow. That would keep these stupid Prius and other cars off the roads in harsher weather.

Its not uncommon to see people driving 25-30 mph on a 65mph zone when there’s only an inch of slush on the roads. I understand that you need to adjust your speed to match the road conditions but some of these people should not be on the roads.

Problem with that is that people would sue..”I wrecked my class III vehicle in a class I Road condition”

Freaking windy today. Looked out back at the 3rd garage and seen some shingles sticking straight up. Made the mistake of telling the wife. All I heard for an hour from her, the mother in law, and sister in law was that something needed done. Challenge accepted. So i found a solution. Handed the wife a few landscaping bricks to keep them down til I can get some silicone on them. Im not one to just sit around and let shit go to hell

If you see my wife on the roof. . .she is jumping. Call the squad. She's attempting suicide. Not that I have that fear with her. Just saying, you won't see her on the roof. 😂

17 degrees 20mph winds. A flock of sandhill cranes next to my house jumped the gun a bit I'd say. I'm tired of pipe freezing weather.

Spent most of the day outside getting the boat ready for a road trip and cleaning up my back yard from 5 weeks a a large dog shitting in it.... That’s an hour I won’t ever get back 😂
Hands were pretty numb by the end of the day...
