Well looks like the weather man hit the nail on the head about this snow storm... Started last night and still comming down... Dog just wanted out and came right back in... Well over a foot out on my patio....

teens with solid wind has been brisk since Thursday evening. Wish we would stay froze for the rest of winter makes my life less muddy.

Never seen it before. Don't know. But I do know that if it's snowing, it sint that cold out. The snow also insulates the ground.

Didn't know, that year ten years ago or so now below 32* for 35 straight days over 4ft of ice on lakes, if the digging world had its limits of freeze depths?

I'm sure it does, I just haven't seen it yet. I've only been digging for a little over a year.

Just peaked out the front at the rain gauge. Looks to be pushing 4" over the last couple of days.

Current situation. If this continues at the same level for the rest of the day, we may have to evacuate. I have swollen creeks that completely surrounds the property. A few more feet and we'll be packing up and moving out. Out of the 50+ years, that has not happened yet and I hope today doesn't change that.
