No fire here. 68 in the house. My wife is acting like we live in the frozen foods section. One thick blanket with talks of breaking out her electric blanket. You can tell she doesn't lay the electric bill. That is frivolous use of electricity.
Yall different than I am. I'll do whatever it takes to shut them the hell up and get them away from me.

I have a question, why wait to turn the heat on? I don't get it. Do you wait until it is 85 in the house in the spring to turn the ac on? Our house stays at 69 year round.
I live with 4 women, including an 8-month old that sleeps in the coldest room in the house. Letting it get cold isn't an option unfortunately. The house stays 72 all year for us.
We have no ac so the house does get hot but cools out to 75 most summer nights. They will use space heaters when it gets to cold at night soon for a bit. Wood stove is the only heat beside space heaters. Im not ready to maintain a fire 24 7. Our new house will be like most of the modern world and have a thermostat when needed.
I've wished for days like this on November 8th. Fall is 30 days early.

I am not ready to light out outdoor boiler yet. It probably is time to call the gas company to have them turn the gas back on. $36-38 minimum payment for .1mcf consumption last year. Highway robbery. We will plug in an electric heater as needed in this mild weather. As stated, our house was 68 last night. Not bad at all. . . . Unless you are my wife.
(She has a job too. If she wants the hss on she can call and put it in her name.)
HEAVY frost here this morning. I rolled the blinds open in the bedroom and the first words out of my mouth were "welp, growing season is over". Absolutely gorgeous morning!
