Great updates!! Droptine is looking sweet with his newly hardened antlers!! I'm with the others, those strips look like great spots for deer to step out of the corn to browse or just use to get somewhere. Apples and crab apples are everywhere this year, glad you found some!

Can't wait for the next couple pulls. I moved my woods cam to a creek crossing that will be some cool pics and kind of curious what will be on there. After that pull I will rig something up to have it on the edge of the corn on one of those drainages to see what and when things are happening there.

Well, the crick crossing was a bust. Tried hanging it of this tree that I could only get to one side of and the bank dropped off to the water and I didn't get the angle I needed to catch any crossing. Only had 8 pics in a week and one was a coon playin in the water lol.

The other cam only had one good clip on it as it stopped working a couple days after I swapped cards. I thought I had put the cam back on pics but must have left it in video mode and set on 60sec clips that run the cams down pretty quick.

Best of luck Adam. Have you ever got to sit in that fence row that separates the two fingers of the ag fields? I can remember thinking that place would be awesome, especially once the crops come off.

I have not sat there but I might set the blind up in there early season. After crops come off the deer only cross the fields after dark. The early season along that fencrow is pretty good because they have some good oak trees in there. I have not walked that thus far but I do know the big oak right at the road is loaded this year. They have a favorite oak that is about halfway down that fencerow so might setup in the blind around there Sunday.

Thanks buddy. Was looking for him tonight but I seen his kids instead lol. Was sitting in the pasture stand and a Button and his twin sister ran under me and fed on the grass for about 10 minutes. They left the field and went down the hill by the apple trees. Never did see momma anywhere. Thought ol Drop would show up and kept watching the direction he should have come from only to see another hunter on his way back to his truck that was parked off the side of the road instead of where it should have been. I stuck around another 10 minutes or so then figured it wasn't going to happen today so I climbed down and headed home. Always next weekend lol.

I will eat tag soup again this year if need be lol. I have some decent bucks for my area but I also have some of the counties best screw-ups hunting around here too.

Crops will be off soon and the deer will be back into the woods again. The beans are already off about a week now and I figure the corn will be off in another week MAYBE 2 but that's a big Maybe lol. The sad part about this property is the only oak flat we have is the fencerow lol. The deer will NOT come out into the open fields until well after dark out there. I need to find the staging areas and start hitting them to see what is going on. Problem with flat land is they could stage just about anywhere out there. Need to find a farmer to get some beans and corn for later this season too.

Decided since it had just rained off and on all day of the 15-30min variety to try a sit this evening in the blind. HOLY SHIT!!!!

That sucked lmao. Hammered with rain downpour and the worst part was I decided to hunt the cornfield drainage this evening. Now, I have done some pretty stupid things in my hunting years but this has to top all of it lol. Dante was going to run video if anything came out and we sat in the blind dry as a bone until the water level in the blind got to be about 6-8" deep lol. Decided we had enough and packed it all up only to get drenched on the 3/4 mile walk out lmao.

Went from huntin bucks to ducks in 30mins flat lmao. Should have had a boat instead of a blind lol.
