Well we will see how many grinners I have in the morning, no more releases, they get the bullet now.
I got my first snare out, two fresh yote traps in the ground, and 10 fresh dog proofs out today. I rebaited my traps I had unset on Christmas Eve TOO. Gonna try to get a few more snares out tomorrow and a couple more yote sets.

Keep it up don. I have two DP's now trying to thin the coin out of my old barn and the last camera pull I had showed yotes everywhere.. Time to start digging holes

It's been pretty slow for me the last few days. I did manage to catch a coon today. Not a huge one but a pretty one. With the pouring down rain this morning I decided to lay some fur out yesterday to thaw so I could put them up today. I put six coon and six rats up today and got them drying. I'm gonna pull all my sets tomorrow with the cold coming and give it a rest for a week and let everything freeze up. Next weekend I hope to have gotten permission to do some yote trapping on a new place and get some yote sets out then.

You would be surprised as to how many thousands of coon were fleshed on that board over the years.Glad to see it still getting a workout.

What make is that fleshing knife?
I have looked and I really can't find any name for it other than standard 12" fleshing knife. Maybe Brian could tell you, his dad gave me the beam and the knife.

[MB makes a good trap. For sure.QUOTE=Mike;378654]Those look great![/QUOTE]

Thanks Mike. I really do like fleshing and stretching hides. It's a little work but I will probably flesh and stretch em as long as I'm trapping.
