What a dang shame. I was just starting to get excited to kill some deer. Temps have finally dropped some and I am ready to harvest one for the freezer. Now I am going to have to watch to be sure I don't shoot a shed buck. lmao

FO SHO early rut this year! I think we are in the peak now. I haven't seen any breeding but scrapes on the trees and rubs on the ground everywhere!

This is pretty close to Alsheimers prediction. He said we would see a spike in rutting activity around the 17 of october surrounding the full moon in October. Everything i have seen is still the little guys going at it and the 1 and half year old does coming into estrous. The best is yet to come i think.
