Another little tip...

When you're finished smoking up, pop the lid open and leave it open when you head out. This does a couple things... 1) It prevents the lid from getting stuck shut from the creosote (sp?) buildup, and 2) it helps the chips burn down easier so you have less ash buildup in the smoker.

Decided to try a new taxidermist out and he sure knew how to get my business! First thing I see when I walk in to his shop is a Scent Smoker on that work bench!!! :smiley_clap:

I bought a knock-off while there were none available. BUY THE ORIGINAL SCENTSMOKER. So far I have had to:

Weld lid handle again
Replace lid handle with Eye bolt
Reattach heat shield
Liquid metal the nozzle back on

Ugh...

Left my smoker down at my mancave in Adams Co - was planning on going back following weekend.
Turns out I didn't go there, but was gonna hunt CC close to the house.
Didn't have my smoker.
Scentfree shower and clothing and some of my clothes still had smoke smell in 'em.
But I felt "naked" without having been smoked up.

I'm a smoke junkie.
Gonna hafta get another for the house.
I'm so damned forgetful I need spares of everything.

It wasn't really a "knock off" but a bee-smoker that was cheap. Think it came from Indiana. It was during the transition for BEC to now when none were available and mine met my tire...
