That’s alright! I spent time a couple springs ago cutting trails down to the bottoms so I can get my quad fairly close.
The dirty bastard was at the pile last night....hope this weather makes him show during daylight.
He told me that he is working this week and can only hunt the weekend and if I get him to call....he wants to at least put his hands on the rack if I end up getting him."The neighbor will be over to help, but thanks anyways"

Jumped something off of the pile on the way in...couldn’t see what it was because it was dark and I walked in without a light. All I heard was a short snort and saw a white tail briefly. Ten minutes after shooting light a big doe came in from the left...stayed five minutes and was very jumpy. Heard two shots way off in the distance.
Another doe and fawn stopped by. When they left, I watched as they zigzagged up the opposite side of the hill...guess it’s too steep to go straight up...even for them.
