Tonight's 40 yard group, no warm-up. Not bad, but still have plenty of room to improve! Been trying the Elite rubber grip, and just don't think I like it. Gonna give it another week, and then it is gone!

Nice group. did you build the stand for your target?
I need to build something for when I shoot indoors. Learned the hard way couple weeks ago.
Leaned glendale up against sawhorse in barn and shot 2 arrows. Second arrow,. the target bounced forward and just about fell.
Thought "wow" that was close and nocked another arrow and let her fly. Well the glendale bounced forward again and wham!
Snapped 3 arrows off....slow learner

Here is my best from 30 yards

Man, that is an expensive lesson! I built the stand out of 4x4's in the shape of an "H", complete with wheels for moving it around. I drilled out a hole for the provided stakes and drove them into the wood, and set the target up on it. Works great!

Did some shooting at 50 yards last night and managed to break yet another shaft after hitting my first arrow on the nock end with my second arrow. I'm down to 2 arrows now and awaiting my spined shafts from Skeeter Creek this week. I think it is a conspiracy. First he works on your bow to the point you start busting shafts at a ridiculous pace, then he has arrows in stock and ready for you once you're out of them!!! :smiley_clap:

Finally got my laptop back... lol. I ordered a dozen shafts from 3rivers and everything i needed... not too bad for 15 yards and 20 yards outta my recurve... My arrahs are real purdy too... with that color its even hard for me to lose them haha! :smiley_bril:

15 or 17 yds (cant remember)

20 yards

Had my youngest out this evening at the Tinker's Creek archery range. This was his first time with the crossbow and he was drilling bulls. Sorry no pics but it was a fun evening (except for the skeeterz).

Got the new buss cable put on the Hoyt....well not new but different until my new one shows up. I did get my bow shooting paper well. Shot fletched and bare shaft all touching at 15 or so yards. Got to BS at Milos with Huck and Switchhitter. Good night...

Today I go to shoot and everything is boogered. Look down and my rest has slipped. Had to re-paper tune and finally got the results that were satisfactory...

Gotta take it back to Milos and Creep tune. (need a good press for that)

35 Yards is as far as I got today. Got tired.

Looks good Beener! What about that flyer down there at the bottom, "Who, that little guy? I wouldn't worry about that little guy."

Left it there cause it was honest. I was going for the dot it was to the left of but pulled it just a bit (was going to try hit all the dots on the bottom also). Decided to stop as I was losing form and getting tired. I will still take those 5 arrows at 35. I would like to chrono this thing again and see what it is really shooting. Seems to be zipping along pretty nicely.
