I'm really starting to like shooting these heavy arrows. And I must say that the Rayzr feathers are holding up much better than I anticipated.
Here was my first (and best) group at 40 yds tonight. I think I may need to bump my 40 pin down just a skosh.

I think you would be safe with moving the pin down. Thats very consitant shooting, good job.

Great shooting Jim! IMO Jim, I like being just a skoch low in case of the deer dropping at the shot and for compensating from shooting down from an elevated treestand. Nice group!

MY dad and i have gone through quite a few targets... lol. Some are duct-taped together, held up with a rope, etc. Haha!rotflmao

Top 2 are me at 20 and the bottom 2 are Alphamax at 40.
I went through a rough period where I was slapping the trigger bad. Felt good to bring it back together.

No pics, but I finally got it together today. I was starting to worry a little that I'd waited too long to start shooting. Something just didn't seem right with one of my bows for the last week or two. It didn't seem to want to hit where I aimed consistently. A little flaw in form and it would show it...not a good problem to have considering I likely won't be thinking too much about form when "he" arrives. Anyway, a little tweak to the bow and all is well.

just set 20, 30 and 40 tonight. fine tune later this week and next. cant wait to shoot muh flames.. pin gap is so small even at 63 pounds...going to get my 340's ready for 50+...that bow is freaky quiet

Didn't try it. I found another tube of regular old super glue and went to town with it. I think most of them stuck pretty well. Good grief, that was aggrevating. They seem to be holding up pretty well now. Did I ever tell you how much I hate fletching arrows? Well, I do.
I don't know what your idea of small is but my bow at 61# has pin gaps that are anything but small... compared to what I was used to shooting before anyway. These fuggin .300s drop like rocks past 35 yards.

yep they drop ....but they also hit big:smiley_coolpeace: for me at 35 yards i will have both pins on the animal more than likely.
Still trying to dial in the new arrahs but the old ones are still hitting better. Milo, are the 400's gpi more then the harvesters I had the 350 spine on ? Just seems like the 400's drop quicker.
Getting close to finished on group tuning...25 yards on a left over target (they wanted $2 a target...pfft lol).
40 yards (aiming at UPC label) broadhead is slightly right...
This bow is not fuggin around. 440 grain arrow, 29.25" draw, 69.5 #'s this is the three shot average...
It shot a 396 grain arrow at 322 fps...
That means this 340IBO is actually doing about 349FPS. I thought guys on AT saying they were getting these same results were full of crap but guess not.
