Strouds 2022: Week of October 17-23, 2022

Anyone have a dry erase board and marker they can throw in the pile? I think as we grow with more beginners coming, it would be good to have. I was just thinking about how to explain mapping, wind and thermals for the hunt I'm about to go on. It would be much easier with a marker.
like this?

Fuck that. You’ll use a stick and the dirt along with a couple beer tabs for landmarks like the old men did back in the day.
Kids today…🙄

I’ve always found it helpful when old timers refer to land marks such as the “big oak”, “hog back”, “small saddle”, etc. I mean how could you not get turned around when an old timer says “take a left at the big oak” in a sea of 100 oak trees

My fiancé has a big one in the basement that she should I could bring. And who ever wants it after can have it or I can take it back home or whatever.

Nah, I'm over it. We get to use empty beer cans, dirt and middle fingers
