For you fortunate souls going to Strouds, EHD hit the are very hard this year. Hunting isn’t about killing, but any of you folks that want to hunt, you would be better served to carry a squirrel rifle than archery gear. Mrex said there are five EHD victims within 200 yards of the camp.

First hunt last night saw almost no sign in the usual places. Hunted my normal spot and had 4 come thru at 40 yds at 6:25. Shot and a clean miss, killed the tree behind the deer. I was glad to see them come thru.
