Ok, Its fixed now. And damn, I think I'll just stick with those Spitfires afterall - I was pretty impressed with them, way more impressed with them than my field points. I have a set of blades so I can change out the ones on my sacrificial arrow if need be but for now I think I'll leave it. I marked the arrow so I would only use it as a last resort. Should only need one right? LOL!

well shit, was gonna go out this eve but mom isnt doing so good and she may have a blockage...that means the hospital....She took meds that have fixed it before but the one time it didnt we almost lost her. She is a 27 year cancer survivor with a total colostomy. Blockages are NOT a good thing. PLease say a little prayer for her - shes getting so depressed I can tell. Two broken hips within three months and now this is really heavy on her mind. She refuses to consider herself "old".

WOOT! I just talked to the farmer I have permission on. He said I could hang a stand and gave me more details on the property line. There was a big fed drug bust on some neighboring land last year that messed up my spot with all the commotion but that land is now vacant and the feds are not gonna sell it. He said he is free to farm it and I am free to hunt it. Its pretty much boxed in back in so Yay me. Scouting time..and er..shopping for a new stand time I guess

i went out tonite was real slow til last light ended up seeing 4. 3 doe 1 small buck didnt get any clearshots. wont be out tomorrow will be friday night and all weekend
Woo hoo! We have our name now.Looks like I will be heading down home Monday to cut up a big fallen tree at one of the places. It is a funnel location and the spot will be worthless with the tree the way it is. I won't hunt the spot until the first weekend of November.
Still working a boiler shutdown at work, I do not get home until around 7pm so I just fling a few arrows to stay in practice when I get home.

well welcome to our group yall, I was planning to go out tonight but my mom is still not well enough for me to leave her and the blacksmith comes tonight so fudge buckets i think on that.
It is hard to get motivated to hunt when it is near 80 degrees! Maybe we should go fishing instead?!

thinking about it. I just went out and set bait at my stand but was thinking about refreshing bait at my blind in the am - long walk to carry apples ,lol, mom comes home tomorrow I think , I like the heat but the deer dont, my blind is on water tho so maybe??
Sounds like a good deal if your blind is near some water! I think its hot enough out they will be looking for a drink!

I am in my tree stand now, NOTHING yet except some crazy neighbors yelling at their kids while they think they are trying to teach their kid How to ride a four Wheeler.

Looks like we are behind schedule so maybe I'll get out this weekend coming up.
Funny thing though, I am not seeing deer where there should be deer in the morning heading to work or evening when heading home.

Ran into a friend who say to come over to his place, there is a buck there that was there last year and is a monster this year.
