Looks like we are behind schedule so maybe I'll get out this weekend coming up.
Funny thing though, I am not seeing deer where there should be deer in the morning heading to work or evening when heading home.
Hope this isn't a bad sign.
Ran into a friend who say to come over to his place, there is a buck there that was there last year and is a monster this year.

saw 7 tonite right at last light. no shots saw a good buck too, looked like the 9 point i have about 200 pics of. couldnt tell tho. hoprfully it cools off this weekend like they say mite get some more movement then.

Mite have to hunt yotes this year more than deer.
They woke me up at 2:35 am last night. They were raising heel no more than 65 yards from the back of the house.
This was the 2nd time within 10 days.
The weeds were TOO high to see them with the spot light but I know where they travel.
Gonna have to warm up the 223

Great now I have to make a new string.
Out in backyard yesterday after work, heard a funny noise on one shot.
One of the bundle twist broke in the nock groove.
Oh well next time I'll put in a few more strands.

I am out but no deer moving. I moved a stand to a much bigger tree just so I could hunt! WINDY!

my brother killed a doe today... just got a call from farmer there pickin the corn next to my main property he said make sure im there in the morning cuz thats when there gonna finish im pretty pumped i know theres a couple big bucks in that area that i havent seen besides on camera because of the corn being on so im ready. hope it goes well.

doe down got us on the board. went and hunted my dads property tonight i was watching two does in the bean field. and she snuck in when i was lookin at them turned back around to see her at 25 yards. didnt take me long to put the pin on her. double lung she went about 60 yards and crashed.

I got out 3 days so far, plenty of deer sighted but no shots.
My mother and her best freind are coming up from Florida so most of the next week will be driving the Miss Daisy's around, that and working 3 shift.

So what parts of the state you all in? I am over by Salem. I hunt in mahoning, Columbiana, and Harrison County.

I live in Lancaster (fairfield) but do my hunting in Perry and Washington counties.
