Mornin Gents. After the terrible display of "Defense" by Notre Dame this year, the 2016 deer season has my full attention. Im a head over heels die hard Notre Dame football fan. I never miss a game. That doesn't exactly work out too well for deer season but after this weekends piss poor display, Im on to better things. I wont be getting out until mid October. Hell I may not even hunt until after Strouds. But Ill no longer look at ND's schedule to check game times. 5 more days. I just wish I could get out early. Ive been advised by fellow members to stay out of my property. So that's what Ill be doing. In the mean time, Im rooting for you guys.
It's tough being a ND fan Dustin. I feel for ya buddy! Lol. One of my best friends is a ND fan and I've seen him suffer for years.
Went out to the property last night. Pulled our cards, filled a feeder, dropped some apples and moved a camera to a new location to check possible routes. Got home and checked the cards. A little disappointing. Our big boy hasn't shown up in a while. Still have 3 bucks coming in regularly. A set of Tall Twins and a wide 8. Our big boy is a wide 13-14. Lots of does with fawns, and then one lone fawn. Also seeing yotes, PO's sister riding her horses, and her BF on a damn moped.

Looking good Dustin, I have a feeling your gonna slay a brute for your first buck! Good luck this year.

Good first sit of the season, had 5 does and a small 6 walk by. Checked my cam that had soaked for a month and was pretty excited to see this guy finally make an appearance.
