I was spectator this weekend but picked up some youth points and a success story of an 8 year boy and his first deer.
I went out this weekend and still not seeing much. I did have a bobcat come out in the ffoodplot.

My boy (8) and I made it again this weekend and had some more success.
He filled his antlerless tag on a doe and has successful tagged out of Jefferson Co.

Last friday( 10/14 /16) was a great day for movement, Hunted two different stands, Morning had movement under me at first light, They moved until i came down, Saw at least 13 different deer with 6 being bucks- 1 10pt,- 2 8pts,- 2 spikes,- and 1 really nice buck that i could not tell what he was.
Afternoon saw seven deer with one being a shooter (no shot) 1 8pt,- a couple 6pts,- and a few does( should have shot one doe, she is smart and wise.
Now watching cam, Movement has almost died even on plots that i did;nt bother.
I;m guessing with the moon and warm(hot) weather moving in they are holding back.
I;m thinking fri, sat and sun will see an increase in movement,
Most of the best bucks i;ve had on cam have all but disappeared. Hoping with the rut coming they will return.
