Team Figgin three sounds good. BTW, we did a card pull on our 3 cams yesterday. My Hardin county stand has a super 8 point that is making regular daytime visits damn near everyday doing same thing. My other 2 cams caught multiple shooters on each. One spot is a new stand we put in a small bottleneck between a super thick bedding area and a staging area adjacent to corn field. There is a beautiful crab claw buck with junk on the bases that I think will go mid 140's. He's a movie star. Literally shows up between 8:40 and 9:20 a.m. every single day for the last 2 weeks.
this buck was found last week on a friends property that my brother hunts, and we have had some new good ones showing up still ill get some more pics up soon
Man, I hate to see good bucks die before a hunter can have a shot at them. That really stinks.
Haven't had a whole lot of time to work on hunting stuff since Kate started back to school, but I did get my hunting clothes washed last night. They are gonna hang outside the next three days, then I'm gonna smoke them up Friday.
Took a few minutes today to walk outside and shoot a 40y group. Took my time and really focused on each shot. Had one flyer, but the other four were great.
Not sure when I will get to hunt, but I'm gonna bust the first doe that presents itself. Good luck to anyone heading out this weekend.
Ouch, I hate to see a buck like that go down by car. dang..
Good shooting Greg, I am going to sling some arrows tonight, drop corn tomorrow. Ill be pretty happy to take a doe sat night. I am anxious to see how my food plot has grown as well.
Today sucked. Expensive repairs on equipment I didn't expect. Extra work to finish a house we are trying to get rented prior to first of month. Son got suspended for defending himself at school. Then my wife tells me she has to work this weekend. She could have mentioned this several weeks ago. Frustrated. Just two days of the season though. Might try to get out one evening.
