Team 6

So much for hunting this morning. Cold front came through but brought rain with it. It was pouring at 4am when I got up. Said fugg it and went back to bed. Hope to get out for a couple of afternoon hunts this week.
 
Works for me.

Have a little bit of private around crawford to hunt but I plan to spend more time in public this year. Parvati ground is getting to be a hassle.
 
I hunt all private here but the best piece I hunt might as well be public. As far as I know there is only 1 other guy on it during bow and he's a nice guy. We know where each others stands are and try not to bother each other. Once black powder starts the last weekend of October I can see anyone out there. Rifle follows black powder and that's the same way. Makes it tough some times.
 
All private ground here. I have my father in laws place I call the honey hole, only 17 acres but my 2 biggest deer were taken there the last two years. I also have my grandpas farm about 150 acres, but I have to deal with my cousins and uncles which can be a hassle. Checked the cam and placed a new one on Saturday with nothing to show. We'll see come Saturday, this week is gonna be sloooooow.
 
Don't really know what to expect this year. I've been busy working a ton of overtime and working on my house. I just managed to throw a cam out last week and have yet to check it. The overtime is slowed down for now but it might pick back up in the next couple weeks. Hopefully I can get out enough times to put something on the ground.
 
I'm here,, Just got back from an early season Kansas hunt.. Had this guy at 10 yards and passed on him... The pics suck but he'll gross 160"-170" but wont net very high.. Headed back in about 6 weeks for the rut


 
The neighbor killed this one, we run 10 trail cams and he runs 6 and we have no pics and no on has ever seen him before
