Was a great weekend hunt for me. Seen a bunch of deer and one good buck. I sat on the hill Saturday morning to see what was going on. Seen a big 8 heading to our sanctuary from the bean field. Along with a lot of does.
Sat close to the sanctuary Saturday afternoon. The deer moved early on there way to the bean field. Feeding on there way. The big 8 came out but never got closer then 80 yards. The bucks were sparring. It was fun to watch. Great hunt.

I probably won’t be going out. Gotta get that doe in the freezer and it’s been a rough week on the family. If any of my kids want to get away, I’ll be on stand with them. That’s my only chance.

Nothing on "radar". Just hope something big walks in front of me. Just have the same two little strips of land to hunt. Not many places to put a stand, relying on past experience with the travel routes on the properties where to put stands. Been working the last few years
Waiting until the end of the month to start hunting hard. Might go out to one of the properties late next week to check cams and hunt for a half of day. Cams just give me an idea when the does come by, so I can arrow one for the freezer. The other property has more potential for bagging a buck...No other trips planned yet. Good Luck everyone....
