I am back guys. Only seen two does on opening weekend, haven't hunted since. Should be back out when the weather breaks again.

I haven't been hunting yet but have checked on a couple stands and all is good with them. I'll be getting after it around the last week of October.
Got my dad rolling in this weekend. Going to be way to warm but we'll see what happens.

Well it's about time to start spending a little more time in the woods. Pre rut has always been good to me for seeing and killing deer. I had to take my bow to the shop due to my QAD launcher not staying upright when locked. Upon inspection of my bow, the owner also found cam timing issues and clearance issues with the rest. New rest is installed and left right zeroed in. I'll be sighting in yardages tonight and hopefully be ready to roll this weekend. Good luck if you guys make it out, I'll keep you posted.

Good luck out there. I cant go till Nov. 1st. But gonna hunt 13 days straight. Weather permitting.
Well now I may not be. I was re-sighting my bow in last night after the shop did some work on it. 4th shot in and my string snapped....FUGG. Scared the shit out of me. Taking it back In today and also looking at getting a back up bow since I sold my other one to a young hunter a few years ago.

First time out on the west property this morning. Had one little 7 pointer come out of the honeysuckle at 10...that was it. I pulled 2 cards from the cams, will check on pics later.

Back in business with a new bow. Just waiting on an adapter bracket for my quiver. I'll have that tomorrow and plan on being in the tree Friday through Sunday. Big weather change starting today and new bucks are popping up on camera. Good luck guys, best hunting of the year coming soon.

Honestly not sure when I’ll make it back out again. Schedule is pretty stacked for the next couple of weeks. Took some guys out last weekend and basically stayed where I could see travel routes myself. Deer seem to be doing the same thing again this year[emoji23]

I don't see any heat waves in the forecast to stop deer movement. Looks like good hunting for awhile. I'm pumped and ready to get out there. Cant get to camp soon enough. Hoping to get there the 1st. Hope you guys can get it done. Good luck all.
