Does that pad their sales numbers?
They will probably use it as a write off and probably try to claim it as a non recurring loss and bury it. But the actual profit/loss will be impacted. With the publicity this has gotten, lots of people will be going over their financials with a fine toothed comb in an effort to prove one side or the other right.

InBev CEO tries another route.. Blaming You. 😅. Could these fuckers get any more dense, they just keep digging.

"People often talk about this topic in social media like noise... You have one fact and every person puts an opinion behind the fact. And then the opinions start to be replicated fast on each and every comment. By the time that 10 or 20 people put a comment out there, the reality is no longer what the fact is, but is more [about] what the comments were," chief executive Michel Doukeris told the Financial Times. I'm sure it's getting close to the point where the board is looking at people like the COO and CEO and saying why haven't you fixed this, this is your job, if you can't stop the bleeding then maybe you're the next sacrificial lamb. I think leadership knows they're fucked either way and they're just treading water until they're asked to "step down". What's done is done by this point though. The time to get out ahead of it passed a long long time ago.

So they've stepped in it, then they did a shitty job of trying to fix it.

Initially they tried to appease the alternative lifestyle folks without realizing who actually buys their products. Then after their sales took a hit they did a half ass non apology to try to fix it which failed. But in doing that they also pissed off the alternative lifestyle folks.

It's almost like they are trying to write a book on how to completely fuck up your domestic sales and lose major market share.

Meanwhile I'm over here with popcorn watching the hilarity.

One of my favorite comments from this whole shit show is "I'm just here for the schadenfreude."

And it was a pretty simple formula. Step 1. Understand who pays your bills. Step 2. Fire anyone who had anything to do with it. Step 3 Apologize without reservation to your market consumers saying it was wrong and dealt with swiftly. Step 4. When the very small segment of your market gets mad at that just give them the. 🤷🏼‍♂️. Play the victim of unjust leftist anger and whip up your market base for added support. Step 5. Profit and beat the shit out of expected earnings. 😅

But then their ESG score plummets and Blackrock, Vanguard and the other woke mutual funds drop them from their index and they get "labeled" as a racist, sexist company that supports "white supremacy".

That ESG bullshit is what needs to be done away with at the federal level. Of course it won't be with the current idiots in the white house.

If ESG works as intended their score should take a huge hit from this episode as it exposed a huge risk of fuck around and find out. Or at least expose the glaring hole in ESG ratings.

I’m still baffled as to how two executives that took it upon themselves to make a decision such as this costing their company billions are still employed by the company? Employees get fired everyday doing far less. Being placed on unpaid leave or whatever “this BS” is called is nothing more than a slap on the wrist. These woke individuals in high up positions will continue to push their ideologies if there are no consequences for their actions.

Simple. They're between a rock and a hard place. Those two careers are over regardless of the public narrative.

My bet is that the female will end up on a show like The View as a cohost or CNN contributor and the guy will end up as an news executive for any of the mainstream far left news outlets. Someone will throw them a high paying cushy left leaning job. They always end up fairing pretty well it seems.
