Lucky to have a win yesterday. Several big upsets yesterday TOO, Ole Miss,Georgia,UCLA and ND(however they showed grit and nearly tied it up with 7 ticks left in Death Valley in a monsoon! Oh, LSU wasn't overly impressive agin Eastern Mich at home either.

IMO, the coaches at OSU are doing a terrible job at getting these "kids" ready mentally! They're not coming to wage war but to just show up and stave off teams that want to knock them off the top! The entire OSU football program from UM to those riding pine have heard and seen all the hoopla and accolades given to them since shocking the world. They aren't playing like the NC caliber team they were last year and certainly not like a team that wants to win it this year. The play calling is waaaaay to conservative and predictable at times and CJ looks lost and confused more times than not. It's clearly evident our coaches lack the confidence of having him throw the ball downfield as well which consequently helps the defense just to pin their ears back, stack the line and either stop the run or sack our QB resulting in predictable play calling in future downs. Our offensive coordinator isn't near the OC Tom Herman was last year and it shows. Until UM replaces CJ with JT Barrett I'm afraid we're all in for nail biting performances and potential losses against "anybody" from here on out! I imagine every future opponent will watch video of our previous games finding every vulnerability within our team and then try to exploit them on game day. They won't have to look hard as our secondary corners like to give 10 yard cushions and play grab ass while the ball is on it's way. Our TO ratio is like +6 or 7 TOO!

It going to pretty much the same from here on out I'm afraid...:smiley_confused_vra

Some college football commentators and haters are loving this right now and can't wait till the Bucks get knocked off! What are the Buckeyes prepared to do about it!

Very good observations. Could you imagine is OSU had a season schedule full of teams like Ole Miss, LSU, Florida, Auburn, and Alabama instead of these team like northern Indiana, Rutgers, and others. Good news is they have a season full of what I would consider scrimmage teams. I didn't watch the game yesterday but kept up on the play by play while I was out. OSU squeaked by by the skin of their teeth and it basically came down to a single TD pass. Zeak carried that team and a good team will shut him down. The bucks are playing not to lose instead of playing to win.

I agree with that!

I didn't see the game, hear the game, or catch highlight videos yet. Ric made a good point: these are kids. Kids can win games but not easily without a coaching staff doing their job.

Let's rewind one year. We weren't exactly impressive at the start of last season in my opinion. These boys need to continue to tighten things up, make adjustments, and improve every game. Lacking talent is not the excuse. They have talent. They need direction. Weak schedule is the only reason we haven't lost yet. Not taking credit away from V Tech or Indiana. They are solid teams. Just not NC teams.

The Cardale Era is over hopefully. Buckeyes have 5 wrs out right now. The offense plays much better right now with J.T. in as qb. He runs the zone read to perfection. Lets hope Perry isn't out long. Glad to see Bosa make plays again.

I agree Eric!!! Said it since the S&G game! JT is the better of the two! WTF was URB and the rest of the coaching staff doing during their evaluation process!!!

CJ did an outstanding job over the last 3 HUGE games last year but with lots of help with our receivers and the run game.
I hope the best for him but he's got a long way to go yet and WTH was our coaching staff doing in the off season?????? Just having him play pass and seeing how far and hard he can throw the damn ball?!?!? To be QB you have to have more than a 95 MPH tight spiral!!! It also helps to have touch and accuracy which is evident that it wasn't worked on during summer workouts either....ugh!
I like URB and he's a heck of a coach but he needs a better OC and pull his pride out of his ass and go back to JT NOW!!! No more subbing or red zone shit to protect CJ's ego!!!
If the Buckeyes are to have any shot at repeating as NC's it's through JT Barrett....end of rant!!!!!
GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!

If I were CJ, I'd get the F off Twitter and Instagram and playing celebrity and turn my focus back to football and work on the mental and physical aspects of a position he COULD be great at!
Your a damn JR not ready to graduate or play in the PROS! You have another whole year and then some to turn this thing around!!! I really am pulling for him but he's got to want it and work harder!
NUFF SAID....

Oh, Antonio Williams, a Scout 300 RB has committed to the BUCKEYES! O-H.....

From what I've heard is Cardale is just lights out in practice but when it comes to live action and reading defenses- leading his receivers it doesn't translate over.

Maybe so. I just think he is dumb.

this move is 4 weeks over due. please post video of you punching yourself in the dick. :smiley_clap: I won't be surprised to see the floodgates open next Saturday night and Buckeyes finally score 50 or more points against a lesser opponent. I want to see some quick slants and some passes to our tight ends. if opponents are going to sell out to stop the run, our offensive cooridinator gotta make them pay. don't need to throw 40 yard bombs to do it. I still miss Tom Herman, but with the correct QB in the game, offensive production is bound to increase if we can hold onto the damn ball.

Rutgers is selling out to stop the run, so Zeke is in for a long night. Offense looks good though. Much better than the previous 7 games. Bosa is playing like the 1st rounder he is. Good to see that too.
