Other than our Defense..... Every other aspect of the team sucked! All the way to the coaching staff. Disgusting!

Great effort by your alma mater Mike!!! They have a real good defense and deserve a lot of credit!!! I like their coach as well!
If it were for our defense scoring a TD this game is tied at end of regulation! They better go back to JT and let him work with the first team and get his mo Jo back!
Milo hit it on the head though, no intensity or consistency! Losing Herman hurt!!!
NIU was no cupcake THIS year!!
-USC lost to Stanford at home
-Bama losing by 13 going into 4th at home
There shouldn't be a preseason ranking till after the 5th or 6th game, imo

Kudos to NIU on showing up to play. Mike, you should definitely be proud of your alma mater. They have a quality program going right now and should play for a MAC championship with that defense! Their front line is no slouch.
As for the Buckeyes, what a miserable and embarrassing performance. From the coaching, to game management, to discipline, to special teams, to the offense, it all sucked. The only exception was the defense. If you take away 5 turn overs, they pitch a shut out or give up a field goal at the most. That may have been a more frustrating game to watch than either of the national championship blow outs. We have actually gotten worse through 3 games and IMO, should have lost our #1 ranking had Alabama won. Just a downright disgusting game that fuels the "overrated" haters. Truth be told, we are overrated the way we are playing right now. I'm as ashamed as a fan of a 3-0, defending national champion can be...
