It doesn't go away either Ryan. The stress on us doesn't leave, it just changes. When they are small we are worried because they are so fragile and vulnerable. As they grow, the fears and stresses are simply transformed into different stresses. Hopefully the little man is feeling better soon!

That is so true...
Here's to a quick recovery Ryan.

You guys are killing me. I have a fairly short list of things to get done today so I can hit the stand. Reading all these posts of deer sighting and such is killing my productivity.

Being a responsible adult. . . I will not blame YOU guys. I will accept responsibility for my actions. My dump: I need better self discipline. lmao

Hope your son is better Ryan. My daughter has strep now and it's heartbreaking to see her struggle. We take for granted being able to hock a loogie. If she could, it'd have to help!

Just had a serious head up ass moment and it's going to cost me an ER trip.

Pulled a t-post I use for cams and was trying to set it, so I stepped on the tab at the bottom. It went through my Muck boot and well in to my foot. Bled like a stuck pig. Got my boot off and tied my UA shirt around it to contain the bleeding. I can move my toes, so I don't think I did any nerve or ligament damage.

Bummer...

OMG, I can feel that by looking at the picture...and I remember how it felt when I did the very same thing about 15 years ago! Oh, dude, I feel for ya! That came as a huge surprise didn't it? Mine was not as bad as your's appears to be, but that freaking hurt. Hope you heal up quick!

I literally said "no fucking way" out loud and was stunned more than I was hurt at first. I've done the very same thing hundreds of times and never had an issue. It didn't even hesitate, just went through the boot like it wasn't there.

It's been 24 years since I've had a tetanus shot and 27 years since I've had stitches. The lidocaine is wearing off now and I'm getting a hint of how it'll feel for a couple days.

Damn son... That's a hell of a way to hurt yourself! One of those "fuck me!" moments that you could have in no way seen coming. Those truly fuggin suck. Glad it wasn't any worse man.
