Doesn't sound as bad as your day, but my wife already has Father's Day planned out for me as well. I tried to explain it to her in simple terms: Wake me up with a bj and breakfast in bed. Make the kids disappear. Done. I am happy.

Don't get me wrong, I love them all to no end. Women just don't get what really makes guys smile. lmao

Hope your day is better than what is planned for you Adam.

Spent. Just fuggin spent. I have one more half day of work today, cookout that I am hosting tonight (49 fuggin people), and then I ain't doing shit. Nothing.

It seems if for the past month everyone I know needs their hand held for everything. Even shit that doesn't concern my ass they are trying to drag me in to. Customers are going bonkers on top of everything else. One ladies house had major water damage/rot in her kitchen. To help out I said I would repair all the damage for cost ($350 on a $7700 remodel) and she flipped a lid like it was my fault and wants me to leave the rot. Tempted to do it but I don't want my name on leaving rot in someones house. I ate the cost just to get it down and kicked her cat ;)

For the last two weeks I have been busting my ass trying to get jobs, house and barn ready before I go on vacation. Going to put in 5 hours today (8 hours worth of work though) and then it is what it is. Hopefully I can get it all done so I can enjoy my vacation. Maybe I will take Monday off and just sit in the canoe with a wet line? Rant over...

Thanks Phil. Turned out to be a very busy but fun cookout. I got a bit tanked and so did the guests of my wifes "Moms" group from church.

Glad to hear it. Sounds like it could have been entertaining to sit back and just watch the church Mom's group get loopy. lmao

I was having a crappy afternoon as well and decided to change camera cards. Turned my attitude around and took my mind off things for awhile. Good to know you were able to relax a bit.

Ugh. I got into a major argument with my neighbor across the street. It didn't end well. We were all planning on going to a city council meeting regarding the pond in our sub division and he decided not to go (he drank all day with the other neighbor who backed out), so I was short with him on the phone because this was very important to all of us. I did say good bye and all of that crap but was short. So he comes over and claims I hung up on him and I disrespected him. Did I mention he was drinking all day? Three times I apologized for him thinking I was disrespecting him, but he just couldn't let it go. He's 49 and I'm 39 (although he looks likes he's 65 from drinking and smoking all of his life) and he tells me he's not going to be disrespected by some kid. I haven't lost it on somebody like I did for A LONG TIME. My wife came out and was doing what wives do in said situation. Luckily my kids were at the neighbors because I could not stop going off. The FBOMS were flying from my mouth. We are friends and good neighbors. If he comes back to me like a man, sober and apologizes then all is good. If not, fuck him. He actually threw his hat and glass off. One hand on me and it would have been good night and then I would have been in jail this evening. I still can't believe he stepped up on me like that. Thanks for listening to my rant. :tantrum:

That will get the old heart beating. Your a better man than most in that situtation, good move on your part. He will probably forget everything.

I feel for you Mike. I have had my run-ins as of late also. They come in threes for me like celebrity deaths. Lol

He probably feels dumb about it and won't own up to acting like an ass out of pride. Hopefully it all works out.

Thanks guys. If he doesn't water my plants like he promised while we're away, then I'll know it's over. I have another neighbor watching and ready to water.

Dang Mike. Sounds like a touchy situation. I have a neighbor across the road from the GF who is a complete douch. 18 YO kid, fuggin punk.. Straight out the holler of KY. How they afforded a house in her neighborhood is beyond me.. Screams at his mother, calls her a fucking bitch.. Oh yeah. The whole 9.. Has 2 rice burner cars with really loud fart cannons. Revs motors at midnight etc.. I'm just waiting, patiently, I know it'll happen one day, He'll cross that street and he's going to go down like a 2 dollar whore.
