Well the truck is back at the shop; throwing a code, they say it is the aftermarket radiator shutters, so OEM will be here tomorrow

Got the truck back yesterday; they had to change out an aftermarket part for an oem part, so they added $550 to the repair and now the total is $12,296.7 so @RedCloud is even closer with his guess if $12,700

Radiator shutters. Radiator shutters. listen to ourselves. WTF are we doing where we have shutters on a radiator and they're monitored by the truck. Was a thermostat not enough for maintaining engine warmup speed This just solidifies my opinion that manufacturers are moving to a subscription model. Buy a vehicle but be on the hook for repairs of extra worthless crap for a lifetime.
