The TOO dump thread

That was an emotional act of violent vandalism. Like 'thanks for boneing my wife and stealing my family' type of shit.

Slashing tires or breaking windows wasnt enough???? Jeeeezus. Hope johnny law gets it figured out before someone gets killed
 
My kid refused to sleep from 1AM to now which means I've had no sleep, have to drive an hour, walk 600 yards, hunt for 5-6 hours, drive an hour, walk another 600 yards, hunt 3 hours, then cater to guests tough on no sleep. Wonderful.
 
Sounds like a lot of folks down with the flu bug. I hab e finally gotten past the body aches, and fever, but I can't seem to get rid of this crap in my chest. Not being able to take time off work hasn't helped, being in a cold damp, building with concrete dust flying around won't help. Really wanted to hunt this morning, but I just don't think its a good idea to be out in this weather.
 
Nothing like getting home from work and finding out the water line to your toilet is frozen , so on with the coveralls, beanie, and gloves and under the addition of the house I went, took the wifes blow dryer with me and once under there I find that the only line that doesnt have insulation on it is the one to the toilet ! Imagine that, went to work with the blower drier and after about 5 minutes I heard it break loose, luckily the line didnt bust. Made a trip to the local hardware and bought some pipe insulation, now it has insulation on it from the floor to the wall going into the heated basement. Guess I cant complain, first time since we bought the house 12 years ago that I have had to do this
 
Anyone eating this?

whelp, I didn't get that job I was going for. They gave it some guy with like 30 yrs experience. Awesome. Give it to someone who is close to retirement instead of someone young who is willing to go the extra mile. Perfect! Someone was helping a buddy pad his retirement if you ask me. Oh well, moving on. Glad its over, but it took 7 months to stinking get a decision out of them.

That friggin sucks Wayne! It happens all the time and pisses me off even when it doesn't pertain to me. Sorry it didn't work out for you this time but hope you get another chance in the near future.
