FUGGGGGGG!!!!!! Just had a shooter come in but he came directly at me and I had no shot then he got to bout 5 yards and up on a lil knoll and looked into my soul lol he jumped away to bout 30 yards but it was too thick then he went and carried on his way. I thought I had him in the bag till I realized he decided to go head first into my tree.
It couldn't have been more perfect cuz I'm only sitting till 12 today and hunted the last 7 days all day. Oh we'll that's hunting. I was hoping he woulda crossed at 30 cuz I woulda had a broadside shot. Nothing but an extreme quartering towards shot and I'll let him walk before I take that.

Bunch a turks came through and I watched the dogs go back the way they came. Hopefully the deer filter back this way later.
Oh, right before the dogs I had a good young in at 30 yards and didn't know it. This grain dryer is so loud!

I didnt see Wiley last night (even though he passed thru at 3:17, while i was driving home). I moved a camera this AM and here he was on it, only 75yrds on the opposite side of a thicket at 6:32pm and i couldnt see him lol

Hunting until 10:30, then drove back roads for 2.5 hours without seeing a deer. I'm not sure what to do tonight. May take the easy way out and just sit behind my parents place in the platform blind.
We didn't see one today and that's what we were hunting for! Thursday could have been an easy two man limit!! Damn!
Back in the stand with a 6pack of Christmas Ale getting chilled in the fridge. Deer or no deer, its party time tonight!
