Is anyone going to try to get out this evening? The winds here are 20-25 mph. There is no way I'll get in a tree, but was thinking of hunting on the ground behind a high wall that usually blocks the wind out of this hollow. I'm on the fence right now.

Passed on hunting this morning and not looking good for this evening either. I don't remember a year with this many days of high winds that closed down my hunting like it has this year. I have to work in this crap wind but that's for a paycheck. Hunting isn't worth the risk. I was going to skip deer and hunt some squirrels but even they are not moving around as much in this wind.

Well I rescheduled some meetings at work and am planning on taking tomorrow off. Weather looks cool and calm all day. Can not decide if I want to sit all day or try a couple different spots. I reckon what I see in the morning will determine that. Either way, I will be out pretty much all day I suppose. A lot of mid day movement going on last week via my cams. I am nervous and excited. I have saw less deer this year then I have ever saw in any other year, yet for some reason I can not seem to loose my enthusiasim or drive. I plan on hitting it hard as I can until the end of bow season or I kill a buck. Good luck fellers.

There ya go!!!!! Now thats the attitude that will get you a deer. All this talk about no rut and all and this guy is nervous and excited to get out all day!!! From the signs around here the last couple days the deer are moving great!!! Good luck!!!!
