Morning started slow but the last hour and half have been rocking. Seen 10 deer with shot opportunities at 6 of them. ' young bucks, one young solo doe, and one momma with twins were all in range. Need to get out of here and work but hate to do so. Lmao
Had a Dr appointment this morning but did see about 4 doe walking a beanfield on my way back to the house around 9-9:30 this morning. I will be out this evening for sure.

Slipped in and rehung the LW I took to Strouds and didn't use. Lol
I hung it back up into the same tree cuz we have a slight 5 mph breeze out of the NE. It's pretty good for this oak flat where I had the encounter with Bonehead. Acorns are plentiful but just need a shooter to come in early tonight and browse around.
Didn't spook anything on my way in as I took the creek access and slipped up into the wind overlooking the oak flat. We shall see......

Enjoying a nice sit, been in the stand almost an hour and no sightings yet. The sun is out now and the rain has moved on. Coming into the last hour, wait and see what happens.
Didn't see any out on my way home from work this evening Steve. Hope your hunt is better and you see something out there.

Other then climbing my stands and checking straps and such I haven't had a bow in he woods yet.....

Tonight will make sit number two for me if things go as planned. Once my dad rolls out on monday morning ill b getting into my routine all out. Didnt have any killable bucks early season.
I'm looking to make sit #2 this weekend, most likely Sunday morning. Should be a great time to be out...
