It was suppose to be raining according to the radar! Still nothing but a few sprinkles and I slept in....I needed it TOO!

Checked the camera on the way it out. It's about 50-70 yards up the ridge from our stand. The buck Kody is after was ther at 7:30. We sat down a little late at 7:30.

He licked the salt and made a had left the opposite way like he normally does. Might make a stand adjustment in the rain this afternoon.

I'm going to my daughters volleyball tourney game this late afternoon. I plan on trying another sit tomorrow morning. Next Fri/Sat look awesome as far as moon and temps! Should be some red arrahs sticking in the dirt during those two days!

It's a great morning out there. Hope you guys get some action.
I'm taking Kody to our sportsmans club for a youth pheasant hunt. We went yesterday after our morning deer hunt but got there just a little late and the birds were cleaned out for the most part. They re-stocked over night so we are heading out early to get a jump on them.

Then it's tree stand this evening. Git R Done boys!

Very nice Mike! I decided to sleep in. Stayed up till after 1 this morning waiting on my oldest to get home from KI's fright night and hear about her and her friends time there. TOO danged tired this morning to go.

Might pull a scrape card and target practice with the girls before going to work.

This morning was awesome! just as it was light enough to see I spotted a small buck, it came into my honey hole food plot from the west and was met by another buck coming from the south. They went at it for a couple minutes then 20 minutes after that they fought again and the winner was chasing the loser balls out through the woods! I got video of another small buck walking right under my stand where I spit my Cope wintergreen, it didn't mind at all. All together I saw four different bucks. No doe though, I was hoping to get some freezer meat.

All settled in. Anybody that doesn't understand deer hunting, just needs to sit in the woods on an evening like this. Beautiful afternoon.
