there have been deer below my stand all afternoon. Have not seen a single buck swing through. Heading back down in about 45 min.

I haven't seen a single deer all day in these thick bottoms. I can't believe it. This is frustrating

They are locked down on the place I'm hunting. I saw two dandies with does in the middle of a huge cut cornfield. They didn't move all morning. Those were the only does I saw! I saw four other small bucks. Two feeding, two on a stroll, one of them stopped long enough to hit a couple of scrapes before moving on. Those young bucks were covering ground, looking for what the older ones already have tied up. I expect to see good action again up there in a day or two as the does that are holding the good ones now will be serviced and they will again be looking for another. I hope it takes them a couple of days to find another doe!
Mason and I are hunting Ross Co in the morning before going to a youth pheasant hunt at my buddy's place @ 10. I really hope he can put one down before the pheasant hunt!

Nothing more seen. I walked around a lil bit as well. My cams are showing a lot of pre dawn activity.
Ass in the stand. Seems awful deerie out. Old scrapes haven't been freshened in a day at least but there is a new one. 81 pictures in a week over a scrape that I hung last week. Can't wait to see what was there!

I'm with ya. Got a feeling about tonight. Front movin in. They gotta move... Brown goin down.
I'm in the creek crossing stand... Should of spent they day in here.... Very little wind and ducks swimming by lol....
The crossing is really muddied up with lots of track in it.... Here's hoping some movement through it tonight...
Was t going too hunt but the wife is working late so dinner plans got bumped back..... So either stay home and do some chores or go hunting?????

Long day trying to convince upper management that margins and competitive advantage isnt everything if the design is not robust....my noggin hurts but Im finally in the stand. Wind is trying to switchbfrom NW to SSW, wish it would hurry!
