He survived because one of the borderline shooters came in. The BB wondered off by the time I elected to pass on the 8 point. Solid 120ish 2.5 that I considered shooting, then he looked at me. He'll be nice next year...

I was able to put my LW sticks to full use tonight. I must say, for it being my first true tree-climb with them, it was surprisingly fast and easy. Very happy with these things so far.




This is was one of my views tonight at a brand new stand. A couple trails funnel down just before crossing a drainage culvert and into a cattail swamp.

I used 5 sticks, and I'd say I was close to 25 feet.
