Had a decent shoot over a flooded corn field. We put the boat in off the main highway about a mile from the river bc it was soooo high. Hunted about 200 yards from the main state route rd and couldn't even touch a 5' oar on the bottom of the corn field. Saw 4-5k ducks, it was flat out BEAUTIFUL!!!! Had 20+ big tundra swans come in and land as well which was pretty cool.

 
Here is one that would give y'all a stiffy. I know where there is a 400 acre corn field along the river thats flooded. The kicker is the fields still standing! When I drove by yesterday the number of birds just flying was astounding.

Aaron and i put together one of the prettiest2 man limits I've ever been a part of tonight. 8 greenheads and 4 sprigs. A amazing hunt , I really ain't sure you could ask for anything else .

We found an amazing field tonight about 35 minutes from the house that was LOADED. Stop and asked for permission... leased. Shoot me now...

It is a good area . Plus I'm starting to learn the area better after moving here 2.5 yrs ago . The season dates are helping the cause along with weather . Its just shaping up to be a great yr .
Great job on the goosies guys ..keep a stackin em .
