I don't even have kids and I was considering buying a minivan. They were very expensive at the time we were looking. Got an Outlander and removed the rear seats and made a platform out of plywood. I made a poor man's minivan. I have a feeling if the wife drove a minivan it would have depressed her anyway 🤣 I think they are great!

I bought a 2023 Honda Ridgeline sport. It fits my needs and the ride is incredible. It should be since its built on a Pilot chassis. It's a very practical vehicle and 99% of my driving is on pavement. The underbed trunk will store all of my inspection equipment and the bed will easily transport a deer carcass. The cabin is very spacious. I never thought I'd own a red vehicle, but I was drawn to the red/black combo.

Last year I was at Sam's club with the wife and we had her Pilot. They had the plastic sheds on sale and we needed one for the camper. So we bought one. When they brought it out, it was the big one! I wasn't turning it back as it was twice the price and size of the one we bought. I couldn't believe it fit inside her Pilot. She loves it and she came from a similar truck of yours. Surprisingly capable little vehicles.

Used prices are up there also….
J.... Tell me about.... Almost the cost of new... Last summer I was faced with possibly replacing both my wife's vehicle and mine... Hers was a Ford Taurus that was turning into a rust bucket... Ran great, but I think if I stomped on the floor I would of put my foot through it... So I was looking at new Subarus and fainted when I seen prices... Got lucky as a friend's son was trading in his 2011 BMW that had 70,000 miles on it... Kid was anal with his up keep of this car... Car was like new... So one day I came home with it and said: I got you BMW... She said sure you did... Never thought I'd have a BMW in my garage.. Everyone said up keep will be expensive... Gotta burn high test gas... She's had it since Sept. and still on the same tank of gas... I think she's driven it maybe 75 miles since then... So it will serve the purpose... Now if a good deal on a truck would come along...

I hope you have the fuel treated in that thing! I'm a freak about bad fuel though. Scares the crap outa me these days with all the ethanol in this crap. Can't even start a fire with it these days.
Funny you say that... I filled up the truck the other day and went around corner and stopped at a liquor store, when I came out started truck put it in reverse and stalled... Had to rev engine and drop it in gear to back up... Then put in drive and did same thing... Finally got on highway and stomped on it several times... Seems ok... Tomorrow truck goes in for front left wheel bearing... Got a drs. appt. so get to drive the BMW... Will top off gas then...
