Oh well hell. If you're gonna be tearing into it, u r crazy not to build it for another 300-500hp😁

Larger injectors, check.
Gonna need higher pressure pump now, check.
Gonna need more fuel now, add a lift pump and 2nd filter.
Need more air now, swiss cheese that box and polish the intake horn, check.
Electronics, EFI live, check.
Damn, gages to monitor everything, check.
Well, if gonna measure, might as well add some boost, bigger turbo check.
Gonna have heads off, gonna need to keep her together, studs in, check.
Gotta get it to the ground, Stage 5 tranny build, check.

Dyno time🤘

Don’t forget the trans build! Rocker panels...can go fast and not look good, so fuck it, leveled with rims and tires. Cowl hood...exhaust

All joking aside, once I get repairs done as they come, I should still be into this truck for under $20,000. Unless someone comes along and offers me a solid price, I see me in this one for a while.

I was finally able to login into my photo bucket account and came across my XJ I had during my last year in HS and all thru college. She had 200k when I traded her in for that 01 Duramax. I put 150K rough miles on her driving between Lake Erie, OU and the PA cabin.

92 XJ, 4.0L, throttle body spacer, mini snorkel, 4.75" suspension mix between Big Dick and Ol Man Emu, quick front disconnects, 8.25 rear with electric locker, roof tire carrier, 4' whip antenna and CB, 35's and sawsall custom trimmed fenders.

Lots of good memories in that rig and stories with OU college football players and coaches most would never believe. These are all prior to the tire upgrade and fender trimming.

Nice rig there Dave. One of these days I'll unleash you and Adam to find me one. Until then....my wife went back to school for her second Master's degree so I'm her sponsor. Someday, she'll be my Sugar Mama.

The 06 Rubicon went to KY and the 67 Nova found a home in AL. Both sold for $ 500 under asking price this Fall. I was shocked I received so much return value. I was pleased.

This is mine I have had since new in 1999. It has 340k miles. Currently in the shop today for caliper and rotors from last trip to the camp. Got my money out of her and still paying off.

The wife kept bothering me about getting a new truck. I looked at prices and always walked away mad and thinking they are out of their fucking mind. Well I broke down and bought a new baby. She loaded but hey, I deserve it. She’s not ready for camp life as I can’t see myself cleaning her for 5 hours every time. Couple more years when she gets to be used as a real truck.
