Mason just called to say Townzen shot a big one. I’ll post a pic when I have one. I am willing to bet it looks exactly like every other dead turkey we’ve seen here this season.

Ha. I think it’s his shirt. When they came into the shop at lunch time he had on a purple shirt. I don’t think he’s ever drank a drop of alcohol.

I haven’t seen the video but it should be fun to watch if Mason ever puts it together. Apparently a buddy of theirs texted Mason a picture of the bird strutting in a field where Townzen had permission. They took a fan and snuck towards the bird. Brought him in with the fan and Townzen splattered him at about 25 yards. Mason had the fan and video camera so it’s probably a neat thing to see.

. You do realize he goes where he is told, right? Unlike someone from Louisiana who decides to go to another spot that is closer to camp so he can talk with three or four other hunters instead of being bothered by turkeys?

Damn that hurt me in the feels. I appreciate you taking me and giving me options on public. It’s not your fault I suck doing anything in the outdoors. The negatives of not being successful makes the successful ones that much sweeter. You probably ain’t seen the last of me!
