What did you do for the deer today?

That’s funny as I have been seeing the opposite this year. Seems like the deer don’t like it as much when the water is laying in the hole. I get more pics when the ground is drier. Which this year is about never. Still get pics when wet but they don’t seem to stay as long.

Dig a ditch to drain the water out of your mineral site. I did that last year and it worked pretty good.

I loaded up all my mineral sites with apple mix minerals.

Spent the day pretending to be the THP crew and know what I was doing scouting three places in the hills of SE Ohio that should/could each have its own day of scouting to get a decent concept and plan. With this speed scouting I stuck to secondary ridges and ridge features to cut trails. We will see if it helps at all come season.
