Clothes washed and hung for two days outside. Threw them in the closet for an ozone treatment to top them off.

My preparation borders on OCD. Been shooting all year. Rain, wind, dark. Gotta get those critical arrows in so it makes the other shots seem like gimmes. I have 3 ozone cabinets and a ScentLok ozone bag with hunting gear soaking in Ozone once a day until opening day. I should be able to get out and mow the two clover plots this week, perfect time before the season starts.

My pack is also already packed with the Ozonics, camera gear and everything I'll need for opening morning sans my bow. Can't wait! So excited to see what happens this year!

Earlier this afternoon I went out swapped SD cards on all my trail cameras.

Approximately two weeks ago I hung a couple of them in new locations.

The following below is collage of photographs from one of those new trail camera locations.

From top-left to bottom-left, then from top-right to bottom-right is the actual sequence of time as you'll be able to see for yourself the timestamps at the bottom of each individual photograph.

I just got done hanging that trail camera just moments prior of that little buck showing up in front of it

Today,

I'm washing & hanging all of my early season hunting clothes.

I've already gone through everything in my back-pack so that's ready to 'Rock-n-Roll'.

This morning I managed to get a practice session in since I didn't get one in yesterday.

I was definitely feel it in the chest & back area letting those first few arrows fly cause of the much cooler wet conditions we had this morning.

Still, I accomplished a pretty tight group from 40 yards with two solid hits out of five shots onto the Pepsi can.

I'll take it (y)

We're within a week now fellas

Shot my bow. Grumbled in my head about the stolen stand and camera. I'll be ready by the end of October. Conditioned the washer and dryer. Got three totes of early season stuff, base layers, gloves, socks, hate and such waiting to go in the laundry. Yep I'm feeling late October.

Sounds similar to my day. Shooting pretty good out to 35 yards, past that, I suck. Just a lack of shooting. Did a boatload of early season laundry yesterday, including Greyson's. And finally got our groundblind set up and I think it's in a nice spot

Bought mine Friday. I'm officially "ready" to stroll into the woods after forgetting something, then not finding another, and then climb into the stand. I'll possibly butter finger my release, drop it and have to climb back down. Then I'll proceed to beat myself up in the stand because I do it every year, yet can't stop it from happening. Not like I had months to prepare or anything. Cheers to opening day approaching!

Probably need to button up this honey-due list today...besides that, I think I’m ready for whatever this season has to throw at me.
Same here. I've got a laundry list of things to catch up with before the weekend. Crunch time is approaching fast! I am just waiting on a leafy shirt to show up in the mail so I can wash all my gear. That's going to hopefully lead to some ground level ambush success this weekend.

If I don’t get them done now, I can promise you the day she will have enough it’ll be the first cold front in November!

Congrats to all for your preparations and good luck this season. All was going as scripted for me until the wife broke her kneecap in half while we vacationed in Florida in July. Now just working and taking care of her and things around the house takes most of my time. At least with all of the hardware in her knee she’ll be able to predict when fronts are coming in !
