What was your first car and why?

When I turned 16 in 1987 my father gave me his hand me down 1981 Ford Escort. It lasted a year then I traded it in on a Dodge Daytona which I bought with my own money. I had the nicest car in the school parking lot then.

1970 Monte Carlo.... paid a grand for it in 79 and had it for a year and then joined the air force and sold it too a buddy who totaled it a week after I left for basic...... loved that car it was a sleeper.....

95 honda accord. Got a good deal from a family member, sold it to a buddy when I was 17 and bought the 2000 chevy pickup I still drive today. 209k miles and still truckin!

'73 Dodge Dart " Swinger ". It was my moms car that I had to buy for $500 when I was 17. It was all black & had a V8. It's amazing I never wrecked it.

1982 Chevy Cavalier. It was a 2 door 4spd, 4cyl. Sunroof leaked, exhaust fell off later that summer. Could not get front end alligned so it ate through tires. Still had many a good time in that hunk of junk.

Mine was a tan 1996 Chevy S-10 with the long bed and a 5-speed. My dad bought it to use as his survey vehicle and I lucked in to driving basically a brand new ride my sophomore and junior years. I was hard on that thing!

I had a black Plymouth Turismo 2.2L with the rear window fins lol. Can't remember the year right off hand. See if I can find a pic after I get off work. That was my 2nd car.
