One pound beef 80/20. One pound of thick cut bacon. Go thin cut for crispier. The basket weave is easier than it looks.

One pound of ground?!? Dang! It looked like 2-3 pounds but consider my age and eye sight TOO! Lol

I wonder if you can cook it in the oven since I don't have a smoker?

With the bacon grease just watch for flame ups. Especially after cooking and using said appliance again. 250 degrees usually won't make grease catch fire/smoke but when you pre-heat the oven at 425 for your next meal it may get REAL smoky real quick.

Use a drip pan for the grill or oven.

Plus it looks so big because of the filling inside. I would say i had an easy 3lbs of fatty there.

I'll do my Reuben fatty and post it next.

Taters with ramps and bacon, deer steaks from this years buck and a Sam Adams. Great to be a redneck!

Dang Jesse. This looks really good. I am gonna have to try these ramps. The way you described them they sound really good. I love onions and I am married to a full blooded Italian so it's pretty much a prerequisite before you can get married you have to like garlic!;)

Fuggin recorded a video of making a breakfast "fattie" so you guys could see how it is done...wife stopped recording and deleted it on accident after just a minute. This one is sausage rolled with fried potatoes/onions, Colby jack cheese, american cheese and rolled in a bacon weave.

Going in the smoker in the morning. 210 degrees for 2.5 hours. It will be ready for an 8:30 breakfast. Pics TOO follow.
