What's For Dinner?

Wife surprised me with our anniversary dinner (New Years eve) this evening. Consisted of ribeye, lobster, sautéed mushrooms, broccoli and sweet potato. For dessert is chocolate covered strawberries.

Smoked wild turkey, rice, peas, a proper salad and a cold beer. Delicious.

Wife made buttermilk biscuits, homegrown beef cubed steak, white gravy, and green beans. I know it was killer!!

Feeling like a spring chicken just cant taste or smell. Everything i eat or drink has the same weird faint taste. I cant describe it but its freaking weird. Hoping that means my taste is trying to come back. Thanks for checking!

You’re right about it being a weird feeling...I remember having several things on my plate and aside from the texture, you couldn’t tell them apart...nothing had any taste. If I remember correctly, it took about five days for it to return.

My daughter had no taste for over a month and her sense of smell is just now starting to come back at the 2 month mark.

Im not a huge breakfast person but this is one of my favorites here. Wild hog sausage, farm fresh eggs, homemade buttermilk pancakes, and homemade syrup.
