What's For Dinner?

Bad carbs I know but hear me out! Lol

You guys have to try these!
Crescent roll dough:

Take cookie sheet lined with foil then spray with Pam.
Layout triangles and crumble your smoked pulled pork over each one. Drizzle a little bit of your favorite Rib Candy syrup on pork then sprinkle freshly grated cheese(Mozzarella or mild cheddar or other) liberally then roll up as you would normal crescent roll. It won’t be real neat or perfect but space out the 8 on foil and bake at 375 for 13 minutes. As soon as you remove from oven drizzle a little bit more syrup on top of crust and let set for 5 minutes to cool.
Dude, it’s like a dinner and dessert at same time.🤗😜
I used RC peachy peach. The Apple/cherry habenaro is killer too! I imagine all are great though. lol

I had leftover grated cheese that I sprinkled on top of dough before baking.

I made a commitment to using the griddle more and this was a home run for the wife and I. Went Krogering earlier and they had fileted chicken thighs for $5 a package. Seasoned them with Webers tequila lime seasoning. Put that on some instant cilanteo lime rice and black beans. Topped it right with crema, guac, and avocado lime ranch. Absolutely delicious. Cost $12 and took 15 minutes. Exactly what a busy ass family needs in the meal rotation!

Bought Zak a OK Joe's smoker when he got the the farm in TN, he really hasn't used it much. He had a bad experience making a brisket, poor smoke and overcooked in the oven, a couple months ago so he bought another one, asked me for some OJT.

Got the fire right about 1630 yesterday, wrapped at 0030, 203° at 0330. Let cool until 180° rewrapped and in a warmed cooler at 0415. Set in the cooler until this afternoon at 1500. IT was 125° in the flat and 142° in the point.

Wild cherry staves from the OH farm throughout the cook.
